Shoutout to April Gunckel, an extremely talented and supportive family paralegal who turned my 10-page draft document into a beautifully written, strong 5-page declaration with legal citations ready to submit to court. This very important declaration will also serve as the cornerstone for my court appointed mediation appointment, as it is brief with cited justifications for the orders that I am requesting. April also graciously talked me through how to prepare for Tier III mediation. This beautiful soul saved me last week when I was in tears needing to cut down pages from my declaration, not having any experience writing one! What’s more is that she was able to turn it around in just a few hours so that I could submit to court the next morning. Although it was an extra charge to turnaround so quickly, it was worth every penny! Thank you April. I would be in a very different position, with a poorly written declaration and without a solid strategy for mediation without you.
This woman is the goat. I was recommended to her to help me with getting my divorce papers filled out…as DIY as I am I could not make sense of all the pages and I didn’t want to fill them out incorrectly. I couldn’t afford a lawyer but who needs one when there is an amazing paralegal named April Gunckel!!! This woman answered all of my questions (I asked a million) with such patience and she even walked in my paperwork to be filed in person!
